Assalamualaikumwarahmatullahi wbt.

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate the Pahang State Forestry Department (Pahang
SFD) and the project team on the publication of “Taman Eko-Rimba Mossy Forest – Journey
Through the Garden in The Clouds”, for their efforts in promoting Pahang State’s ecotourism
through publications infused with wealth of information for the public, both the locals and
foreigners alike.

There are many local authorities and agencies working hand-in-hand in tandem with the vision
of promoting Cameron Highlands by featuring the Taman Eko-Rimba Mossy Forest (TER Mossy
Forest) as one of the wonders of the highland. At the same time, their mission is to transform
TER Mossy Forest into a sustainable ecotourism product of Pahang State that will be set as a
benchmark for other potential ecotourism sites. I applaud their unyielding efforts and their quest
to place TER Mossy Forest on the pedestal of international eco-attractions.

Through Pahang SFD, the Pahang State has reckoned to channel an unending effort in educating
the public through creative and well-presented reading materials. Their enthusiasm and passion
towards the success of their mission are ever inspiring, and may their efforts continue to be
an inspiration to many. The Pahang State Government will continue to support such efforts
and ensure that agencies work together with the communities for the advancement of local
ecotourism par excellence.

I am looking forward for the continuous success of this book and let’s work together to share the
many wonders of TER Mossy Forest.
